IBAD MUSA OGLU ABBASOV
Doctor of Economy, Professor,

Ibad Musa oglu Abbasov was born in 1953 in the family of teacher. After finishing Agjabedi school № 1 in the Azerbaijan Republic, he has been to army to serve his military duties. In 1974 he was released from the army and entered Azerbaijan Economy Institute, the school of “Accounting-Economy” and graduated from the same institute in 1978. Ibad Musa oglu Abbasov worked in several senior posts during 1978–1993; beginning his job as an accountant he promoted in his job and reached the level of head director. In 1988 he defended theses for a Candidate’s Degree and in 2001 for a Doctor’s Degree in Sankt-Petersburg and got an academic title of “Doctor of Economy”.

In 1993 Ibad Musa oglu Abbasov for his scientific and educational achievements was honored with the academic title of Professor according to the specialty of “Accounting and Audit”.

Taking into account the situation of the market economic relations and the need for training specialists of economy, Professor Ibad Musa oglu Abbasov laid the foundation of Baku Business University in 1992, now he is the Founder and the Rector of this University.

Professor Ibad Musa oglu Abbasov has special services in the development of the science of economy, and especially in scientific-practical development of audit. He is the author of scientific works, totally consisting of 150 printed papers, also 4 monographs, 4 teaching-methodical aids and 2 textbooks. His 35 scientific articles were published in foreign countries. He is the founder and editor-in-chief of the scientific-practical journal “Audit” which is famous in our Republic and Commonwealth of the Independent States.

Ibad Musa oglu Abbasov has toiled at training of the economist personnel. In 1996 he was awarded with a Special Prize named after Youssif Mammadaliyev and in 2003 was honored with the Honorary decree by Ministry of Education of the Azerbaijan Republic for this service. At the same time he takes an active part in social-political life of our country and he is the member of the New Azerbaijan Party in Yasamal district..

AGHASALIM KARIM OGLU ALASGAROV

Aghasalim Karim oglu Alasgarov was born in 1928. In 1950 he graduated from Azerbaijan State Institute of National Economy and worked at different leading posts in the Central Plan Organizations. In 1953 he was sent to Moscow State University named after M. V. Lomonosov to study at “Political Economy, Philosophy and Training History Teachers” special schools by the directive organs of our Republic. Having finished school on the specialty of “Political Economy” successfully, he worked as a teacher at the chair of “Political Economy” at Azerbaijan Industry Institute named after M. Azizbeyov in 1954–1955. In 1955 he was sent to the Academy of Sciences of USSR to Moscow to take his post-graduate courses at Economy Institute. He defended theses for a Candidate’s degree in 1957 and for a Doctor’s degree in 1968.

The main part of the scientist’s rich scientific-organizational activity is connected with the Economy Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. In 1981 he worked as an assistant director and in 1989-1999 as a director of this Institute. Since 1993 up to the present day he is working as a Vice-Rector on Scientific Works at Baku Business University.

Aghasalim Karim oglu Abbasov was honored with the academic title of Professor. In 1989 he was elected corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. He is the author of 206 scientific works in the volume of 320 printing papers, 20 monographs, a book, methodical-educational supply, etc. His scientific works were published in the USA, England, Germany, Slovakia, Iran, Russia and other countries.

35 theses for a Candidate’s Degree and 3 theses for a Doctor’s Degree have been defended under his leadership. He has taken an active part in preparing of law resolutions for being discussed in the National Assembly of the Republic.

Aghasalim Karim oglu Alasgarov, corresponding member of N.A.S.A. for his labor activity was highly estimated by the Azerbaijan Government. He was awarded with some medals and honorary titles.

RAHIM FARAHIM OGLU SADIGOV
Candidate of Economy, Assistant-Professor
Vice-Rector on Teaching

Rahim Farahim oglu Sadigov was born in 1972. In 1989 he finished school number 1 in Masalli. In the same year Rahim Farahim oglu Sadigov was awarded with 1 degree diploma in the republic-wide competetion on mathematics which was held in Azerbaijan Oil Chemics Institute. He entered Baku branch of Leningrad Finance-Economy Institute in 1989 (present – Azerbaijan State Economic University). He graduated from the institute in 1994.

In 1995 he was appointed to the post of tax inspector in Binagadi Taxes Office. Since 1999 he has worked in the post of department chief. In 2000 he worked as chair of education section at Nakhchivan University, in 2002 he defended candidature thesis on the theme of “the problems of the formulation and improvement of inside firm planning” and got the degree of candidate of economy. From 2003 to 2006 he worked as the dean assistant and dean at Baku Business University. From 2006 to 2009 he worked as the chair of Education section at Azerbaijan University. Since September of 2009 he works as vice- rector on teaching at Baku Business University.

Rahim Farahim oglu Sadiqov is the author of 50 scientific article, 9 books, and works on Doctor’s degree. He investigated in Russian, Turkey, Tailand and Malasia and the high scools of other countries.

SABIR ABUZAR OGLU AMIRKHANOV
Candidate of Pedagogy, Associate-Professor, Vice-Rector on Education,
Head of the Department of “The Humanities”

Sabir Abuzar oglu Amirkhanov was born in 1949. In 1975 he graduated from Azerbaijan State Art Institute, the school of “Cultural and Educational Work”. From 1976 to 1979 he carried out the duties as a chief methodologist in the Ministry of Culture of the Republic in the “Cultural Educational Work” office. From 1980 to 1990 he worked as a teacher at the Azerbaijan State Art Institute; from 1990 to 1998 he was the head of Educational branch at the same institute and activated as the deputy dean of the school of “Art Studies”. Since 1999 up to the present he executes the duties of Vice-Rector on Education and the head of the chair of “The Humanities”.

In 1997 he defended his candidacy thesis and got an academic title of a Candidate of Pedagogy.

Sabir Abuzar oglu Amirkhanov is the author of more than 90 scientific-research works including 7 textbooks, 6 monographs, 16 curriculums, 16 teaching-methodical aids with recommendations, more than 90 articles and theses; all together scientific works consisting of more than 170 pages have been published. He is one of the authors of the textbooks “Museum Management Studies” (2002), “Applied Culturology” (2004) and “World Museums and Historical Culture Monuments” published for higher schools. At present he is working on a thesis for a Doctor’s Degree.

Since 2001 he is the Chairman of New Azerbaijan Party of Yasamal region Organization which has been the first Party Organization at 88a H. Zardabi area (BBU).

IKRAM KARIM OGLU AGHASIYEV
Candidate of History, Associate-Professor,
Scientific Secretary of Baku Business University Academic Council

Ikram Karim oglu Aghasiyev was born in 1963. He graduated from Volyn State University (the Ukraine), the school of History with honors. In 1988–1992 he worked as a head scientific worker at Volyn History museum. In 1992–1995 he was a post-graduate student of Volyn State University. After successfully graduating from the post-graduate courses he worked at Krasnoyarsk State Pedagogical University. In 1999 he defended a thesis and was honored with an academic title of a Candidate of History.

Returning to Baku at the beginning of 2003 he began to work as a senior scientific worker at the History Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. Since October, 2003 he has been working at Baku Business University, at the chair of “The Humanities”, at the same time he fulfills his duty as Scientific Secretary of the University.

Ikram Karim oglu Aghasiyev carries out not only pedagogical but also scientific activity. The young scientist has been investigating the history of German colonies having existed in the Post-Soviet countries since 1989; he is the author of more than 30 scientific works in the volume of 40 printing papers devoted to the history of German population. Most of his works have been published abroad – in the Ukraine and Russia and these works were dedicated to the history of Russian and Southern Caucasus people.

At present the investigator is working on the thesis for a Doctor’s degree.
